Our projects are diverse and include providing urban design, design review and assessment, landscape design and stakeholder engagement services for a wide range of commercial and residential projects.
  • We provide site layout, feasibility studies, urban design assessments, housing typology design advice and landscape plans to assist with the design and consenting

    Our projects include terraced houses, duplex and standalone homes, typically on tight urban sites, where careful attention to site layout, urban design issues, landscape design, residential and public amenity is critical to the success of the project.

  • We provide a range of urban design reviews services, including integrated urban design and landscape strategies for large and complex mixed use developments. We also provide detailed urban design assessments to support Resource Consents processes, and where applicable, expert urban design evidence for hearings.

    Featured projects include a range of large commercial, retail and mixed use projects, including work undertaken for Auckland Council.

  • We provide design and design review services, for streets and public spaces, including landscape design. Many of our projects include the provision of streets, laneways and communal landscape spaces.

    Featured projects have a particularly important focus on the creation or enhancement of public spaces.

  • We provide consultation and strategic planning services, preliminary master planning and scenario testing for site specific plan changes, including the development, testing and assessment of plan policies and provisions and expert urban design evidence.

    Featured are some plan changes focused on assessing or proposing a greater intensity of development, whilst ensuring good urban design outcomes.

  • We provide a range of community engagement services, including workshop facilitation and interactive event management to encourage diverse community participation in shaping places.

    The featured projects included community consultation and collaboration, working with and for various community groups to assist them in engaging with planning, design and decision making processes.

  • Our team embraces opportunities to be innovative, to evaluate and shape urban design policy in Aotearoa. Through research, industry collaboration, submissions and commissioned review and advice on urban development related policy.
