Motu Design were invited to participate in a community run design competition for the landscape design of a park on the existing ‘nosh Supermarket’ site on Ponsonby Road, in Ponsonby Auckland.

We  were keen to support this initiative, and to have some fun, so pulled together an entry with what spare time we had available and surprised ourselves by coming third!

Check out our submission  -  with native bush, colourful hibiscus flowers, orchard trees,  market stalls and a community stage for urban events,  Te Rimutahi   (the one Rimu) draws together various strands of Ponsonby’s history into a collaborative landscape proposal.
