A residential shared space street vested with Auckland Transport as part of a 31 Lot subdivision with 29 new dwellings, including a mix of terraced, duplex and standalone houses.  Located on the fringes of the city, but close to parks and a train station. A key outcome was the creation of an affordable, fee simple subdivision development, which prioritizes pedestrian amenity, connectivity and the efficient use of land.

 

Urban design services provided by Motu Design included:

• site layout and street design concept,
• design review and refinement of house design,
• landscape concept plans in collaboration with Calyx Design,
• urban design assessment reporting for Resource Consents,
• design review of proposed houses,
• detailed street design in collaboration with Flow Transportation and Projenz
•  assistance with Auckland Transport approvals.
